Countertop Specifications

Mal-O-Sen is a manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of quality laminate countertops. Our plant is located in Hastings, MN just 20 miles south of St Paul. Mal-O-Sen has been in business for over 45 years, 1970 - 2015. Mal-O-Sen uses laminate from four (4) of the most well know laminate manufacturers; Formica, WilsonArt, Nevamar and Pionite.

Mal-O-Sen offers a wide selection of laminate countertop edge styles to fit any decor, fifteen (15) in total counting five (5) edge styles we distribute for other manufactures.

Standard Mal-O-Sen countertop lengths are 8', 10' and 12' long. Standard countertop depths are kitchen 25-1/2", vanity 19-1/2" and 22-1/2", island 27" and 36". The maximum postformed island width is 52". Standard back splash height is 3". Other island widths, kitchen widths and back splash heights may be special ordered.

Mal-O-Sen manufactures ten (10) different laminate countertop edge styles. They are; Postformed, Single Cove, D-Edge, 180° Wrap, Laminate Bevel, Wood Rainbow, Wood Classic, Wood Classic Accent, Wood Double Classic Accent and Wood Elite.

Mal-O-Sen is also the local distributor for VT Industries fine laminate countertops, located in Sac City, IA. Mal-O-Sen offers five (5) VT edge styles. They are: Barcelona, Geneva, Marbella, Ora and Valencia.

Vt laminate countertops are available in 8', 10' and 12' lengths only.

Special widths or backsplash heights can be special ordered.
